Fonts In Use description[]

Originally designed by Ray Larabie inspired by the use of for and made available in or before January 1998 [archive] in a single black weight. Updated in March 1999 [font info v2], with alternatives only for "LQR" and a dollar sign as seen in the TV show’s logo. Updated in 2001 and 2004 [font info v3.2], now with alternatives for most letters. In 2000, two versions with distorted letterforms were released as part of the Larabie Fonts Ink Deluxe font package and (discontinued).

In 2009, with Larabie’s permission, Roger S. Nelsson made a version with a multilingual and expanded character set as (CheapProFonts).

In 2013, Larabie himself released a rebuilt and improved version, expanded to nine weights, with numerous alternates and ligatures and a character set that supports Latin (incl. Vietnamese), Greek and Cyrillic.

Character features[]

  • A, B, D, E, G, H, I, J, P (in one version), Q and Y have different forms in uppercase and lowercase.
